Mission Trip 2024

OA’s Dr. Adam Dann Joined former Grandview trainees, Alex Palmer, DO, and Brian Handal, DO, and current hand surgery fellow, Pil Femano, DO on an annual mission trip to Tegucigalpa, Honduras led by Richard Howard, DO

Throughout the course of the mission, a total of 89 hand surgeries and 13 spine surgeries were successfully performed, benefiting the underserved population in the region. The commitment to the mission extended beyond immediate care by educating local orthopedic and plastic surgery residents on managing these complex injuries to the hand, wrist, and elbow. This education is crucial for building sustainable healthcare within this community.
