Biography

Dr. William “Mack” Malarkey is an orthopedic surgeon and Dayton-area native who is proud to provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma care to patients throughout the community he calls home.

After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky, Dr. Mack Malarkey received his medical degree from the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. He went on to complete his orthopedic surgery residency at Geisinger Health System in Danville, Pennsylvania, followed by a trauma surgery fellowship at the Georgia Orthopedic Trauma Institute in Macon, Georgia.

Dr. Malarkey’s professional interests include geriatric insufficiency fractures, hip fractures, intra-articular lower extremity fractures, and other long bone fractures. He also specializes in the treatment of fracture complications, including nonunions, malunions, and infections.

As a native of the Dayton area, Dr. Malarkey is honored to bring his specialized training home and provide expert orthopedic care to patients throughout the greater Dayton community.
