Safet O. Hatic II, DO, FAOAO

Orthopedic Surgery, Foot and Ankle

Dr. Hatic is a fellowship trained orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon who joined the team at Orthopedic Associates of SW Ohio in the fall of 2011.

He sees patients in 3 locations including Dayton, Centerville, and Greenville. Dr. Hatic's practice encompasses general orthopedics but focuses on the management of complex injuries of the lower extremity including a broad spectrum of foot and ankle pathology. His practice interests include sports medicine, fracture care, arthritis, Achilles and heel pain, adult flat foot, bunions/hammertoes and diabetic foot and ankle care. Dr. Hatic has a special interest and advanced training in evolving techniques for cartilage restoration and total ankle replacement surgery.

He currently serves as the Assistant Program Director for the Grandview Hospital Orthopedic Surgery Residency, has published articles in several peer-reviewed journals, co-authored book chapters, and lectures frequently, both at local and national meetings. Dr. Hatic serves as the Medical Director for Wayne HealthSports which provides athletic training, physical therapy and rehabilitation, as well as orthopedic care to student athletes across Darke County, Ohio.

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Hatic now lives with his wife, Anna, and two children in Greenville, Ohio. His interests including swimming, cycling, running, and a variety of motorsports as well. He's completed one marathon, numerous half marathons, 3 x 70.3 Ironman triathlons, and aspires to complete a full 140.6 Ironman triathlon.

Holly Wolters (PA-C)

Holly earned her Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Kettering College. She also received her bachelor's degree in human biology from Kettering College. Holly is a member of the American Academy of Physician assistants and she is board certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She works primarily at the north facilities with Dr. Hatic and Dr. Weber, both in surgery and in the office.

In her free time, Holly enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys watching and participating in sports activities.

Kristen M Horgan

Kristen earned her Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Kettering College. She also received her Master’s in Health Administration from University of Pheonix and her bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Miami University. She works with Dr. Hatic and Dr. Weber, both in surgery and in the office, seeing patients mostly at the Little York and Yankee office locations. She believes it is important to thoroughly explain both the surgical and non-surgical options for the patients. She spends time answering patient questions and helping ensure patients understand their conditions. She belongs to the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Ohio Academy of Physician Assistants.

In her free time, Kristen enjoys working out and playing sports, especially soccer, as well as spending time with family and friends.
